Visit to an Andalusian state primary school by students from South Carolina

A group of students from the University of South Carolina visited CEIP Carlos III as part of their academic stay in Cádiz, where they are studying Spanish language and culture at the University School of Modern Languages (CSLM) at the University of Cádiz.

The group was received by the school’s headteacher, María García Blanco, who welcomed them and showed them how the school operates on a day-to-day basis, as well as some of the educational projects being carried out by the school community.

During the day, the American students had the opportunity to gain a first-hand insight into life at an Andalusian state primary school, tour the premises and share experiences with the pupils, in an enriching linguistic and cultural exchange.

The activity took place in a very participatory and friendly atmosphere, proving to be a highly positive experience for all participants and an excellent opportunity to strengthen the international dimension of the UCA’s language and cultural immersion programmes.
