Our Diplomas and Certificates

Since March 2012, the CSLM has been issuing different types of diplomas to meet the requirements set for foreign language level and accreditation .

  • Certificate of Attendance: This certificate is issued to students who have completed one of our courses without taking the final test. It verifies their attendance and participation in the course. This certificate includes the course title and duration in hours but does not indicate successful completion. To qualify for this certificate, students must have attended at least 80% of the class hours assigned to the course.
  • Certificate of achievement:  This certificate is awarded to students who have successfully completed one of our courses and passed the final test, administered in the last week of the course. This certificate includes course details such as language, level, duration, and the grade achieved. It certifies that the students are officially ready to sign up for the next course in a higher language level and, in most cases, may lead to the recognition of credits based on teaching regulations and the applicable legislation. For more detailed information, please contact the secretary’s office.
  • Official level accreditation diploma: issued to those who pass the various official language proficiency tests held at the CSLM. In the case of examinations set by external bodies for which the University School of Modern Languages acts solely as an examination centre, the certificate will be issued directly by the relevant body within the timeframes set by each organisation and in accordance with its own regulations.

Certificates of attendance and achievement will be sent digitally to participants by the CSLM Information Office within three months of the end of the course.
