University of Georgia, 22 years coming to the University of Cadiz

The University of Cadiz today welcomed a group of 30 American students from the University of Georgia, who will participate in a linguistic and cultural immersion programme, specifically designed for them, organised by the University School of Modern Languages. This is the first of eleven universities that will visit us this summer.

The event, which took place in the Salón de Grados of Facultad de Filosofía y Letras, was offered by the director of the CSLM, Javier de Cos, who, accompanied by the coordinator of International Programmes of the CSLM, María Fernández, addressed a word of welcome to students and coordinators and wished them academic and personal success, reminding them of the importance of taking advantage of an immersion context such as the one they will be in from today until 30 June.

This year, the University of Georgia’s summer programme celebrates 22 years of trusting the University of Cadiz to train its students in Spanish.
