Around thirty students take part in a new interUCAmbio exchange with Villanova University 7 June 2026
This activity, organised by the CSLM, promotes language practice, cultural exchange and social interaction
Around thirty students took part this week in a new edition of the interUCAmbios language exchange programme, an initiative organised by the University School of Modern Languages (CSLM) at the University of Cádiz and promoted by the Vice-Rectorate for Internationalisation, through its Directorate-General for Language Policy.
The event took place at the Faculty of Economics and Business Studies, in a dynamic and participatory atmosphere, further enhanced by the stunning views of La Caleta offered by this university venue.
This event forms part of the programme of extra-curricular activities organised by the University of Cádiz to complement the academic education of international students. Through initiatives such as interUCAmbios, language practice, cultural exchange and social interaction among students from different countries are encouraged, thereby contributing to a more complete and enriching immersion experience.
On this occasion, the visiting students came from Villanova University, a US institution located in the Philadelphia metropolitan area, which has maintained close collaboration with the University of Cádiz for 37 years. This long history of academic cooperation has helped to strengthen the ties between the two universities and promote the international mobility of hundreds of students over the past decades.
