Welcome to the students of Washington and Lee University

The University of Cadiz welcomes 15 students from Washington and Lee University (Virginia, USA). The academic programme is organised by the University School of Modern Languages and will take place at the Faculty of Medicine from 29 April to 23 May.

Numerous extracurricular activities are also scheduled during this period, such as excursions and visits to different parts of the province of Cadiz and Andalusia, gastronomic workshops, flamenco shows, etc.

The welcome ceremony was given by the General Director for Language Policy, Jesús Bolaño, together with the CSLM coordinator, María Fernández, and the head of the programme at Washington and Lee University, Antonio Reyes.

This biannual international programme came to Cádiz for the first time in 2012 and this is the fifth time it has visited us since then, the first time since the interruption caused by the pandemic.
