Welcome to students from four prestigious American universities as part of the international programmes organised by CSLM

Almost a hundred students from four American universities, Villanova University, The College of William & Mary, the University of South Carolina and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, began their academic stays at the University of Cadiz this Monday through the international programmes organised by the Centro Superior de Lenguas Modernas (CSLM).

The welcoming ceremonies for the first three universities were offered by the Director of the International Mobility Secretariat of the UCA, Néstor Mora, accompanied by the Coordinator of Spanish and International Programmes of the CSLM, María Fernández, and were held on the Cadiz Campus, both in the Faculty of Arts and Human Sciences and in the Faculty of Medicine, where the academic programmes designed by the CSLM for these three universities will be taught until the end of June. For its part, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga will participate in a more intensive Spanish programme, organised specifically for researchers from this university, which will take place at the Puerto Real Campus.

Villanova University’s summer programme is the oldest and this year celebrates its 34th year of trusting the University of Cadiz to train its students in Spanish.
