The Vice-Rectorate for Internationalisation of the University of Cadiz has welcomed more than 50 students from Davidson College (North Carolina, USA), Penn State University (Pennsylvania, USA) and The Chinese University of Hong Kong, who will enjoy academic stays during the month of July. These programmes are part of the international programmes organised by the University School of Modern Languages (CSLM) of the UCA.
The welcoming ceremonies were held in the Salón de Grados of the Faculty of Medicine and were given by Jesús Bolaño, General Director for Language Policy and the CSLM, accompanied by the coordinator of the Centre, María Fernández, and the heads of the different programmes: Melissa González (Davidson College), Susana García and Miguel Ramírez (Penn State University) and Antonio García Susperregui (The Chinese University of Hong Kong).
At the various meetings, the organisers highlighted the importance of these collaborations and the enriching academic and cultural experience they offer students, underlining the UCA’s commitment to internationalisation and the promotion of Spanish at a global level.
