The UCA welcomes 15 students from Massachusetts (USA) as part of the CSLM international programmes.

Students from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell will be the last students to carry out an academic stay at the University of Cadiz during the summer as part of the international programmes organised by the Vice-Rectorate for Internationalisation through its University School of Modern Languages (CSLM).

The welcome ceremony was held in the Salón de Grados of the Faculty of Medicine and was given by the General Director General for Language Policy and the CSLM, Jesús Bolaño, accompanied by the centre’s coordinator, María Fernández, and the person in charge of the programme at UMass Lowell, María Matz.

This programme came to the University of Cadiz for the first time in 2011 following the signing of a framework collaboration agreement in July of that year, which was extended and updated in 2023 with the aim of strengthening existing relations between the two institutions and promoting new collaborations.
